A lot of angry fans are up in arms about the new Spider-man One More Day storyline. Apparently Peter Parker makes a deal with the devil to save Aunt May which includes not ever having married Mary Jane.
I've only read part one so far. I got the scoop reading comments at comics2film.com http://www.comics2film.com/b/index.php?blog=2 ... I'm just amazed they would do this. Sure it's interesting just for the reasons most people hate. Like how does it affect all the other story lines in Spider-man's past? Here's the thing that I see as the biggest problem for me. What kind of man would give up his wife for anybody else in his family? Hello, and if you got to make a deal with the devil to get it done then it can't be right now can it. Doing all you can by natural means to save a loved one is natural, but I can't believe Peter would go as far as revamping the course of history and give up his wife to save his Aunt. I mean come on. Sounds like something a very spoiled character would do. A very big mama's boy that would give up his wife like that. Sounds very irresponsible on top of that. __________________ |

Read this http://comicbookresources.com/columns/?column=20 to find out what former Spider-man artist Erik Larsen thought about One More Day.
Here's my review after finally reading the whole story arc for myself. __________________ |
